Truck Battery Fire

ATTENTIONNorth Lincoln Sanitary Service had a truck fire today due to a battery being thrown into the garbage and igniting. We are grateful that the driver is safe and no damage was done to the truck. Thank you to North Lincoln Fire Rescue for their help putting the fire out and assessing the damage.
This is a reminder to NEVER put any kind of battery into your curbside roll carts. We accept all batteries at the Recycling Center (1726 SE Hwy 101) free of charge to all our customers for this very reason. Please make the right choice for your community's safety by disposing of them correctly at the Recycling Center. Thank you!
