Employee Spotlight: Jon Bickerdyke

This week's employee spotlight is Jon Bickerdyke! Jon has been with us since January 2021, which means his 3 year mark is just around the corner.

Jon is the recycling driver for NLSS taking on almost all of the multifamily and residential recycling route. He is incredible at adaptability and has a desire to help those around him be better (not just in their recycling habits 😉). His customer service is beyond what we could hope for along with his involvement in the community coaching youth soccer & helping with the Taft Culinary team. We are proud to call him one of our own!

  • Why did you decide to work at NLSS?

I knew Lon French from when he coached me in soccer. He asked me if I'd like to work at NLSS and I thought it was a great opportunity that I couldn't pass up. 👍

  • What's your favorite memory while working here?

All the conversations and memories made with my coworkers, plus the views I get from my route (check out his photography!) 🌊

  • Tell us about your family!

I have a brand new daughter named Aubrey, my wonderful fiancé Adrianna, my dad who is captain of the fire department, and a dog named Kimber who is super energetic. 👨‍👩‍👧

  • What are your hobbies?

I love archery, hunting, taking my kayak out, and coaching soccer! ⚽️
